A Burlington man previously convicted of downloading child pornography admitted to committing the same crime, authorities said. Charles Borrelli, 62, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Sept. 25 to receipt of child pornography, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release. According to court documents and statements, Borrelli downloaded pictures of child sexual abuse on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022. Driver Sought After Camden Woman, 41, Killed In Hit-And-Run: Prosecutors
Police were looking for the driver who killed a Camden woman in a hit-and-run crash, authorities said. Carla Mahan, 41, died in the crash on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release. A Blackwood man was killed in a shooting in Runnemede, authorities said. Neville Molyneaux, 38, died on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release. A waterfront house under construction caught on fire in Avalon, officials said. Avalon firefighters responded to the house on the 4600 block of Fourth Avenue at around 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the borough said in a Facebook post. One Hospitalized In Early-Morning 3-Car Crash In Camden County, Firefighters Say
One person was hospitalized in an early-morning crash in Camden County Wednesday, Sept. 25, firefighters said. The Lawnside Fire Department responded to the crash, along with Magnolia Fire Co. Squad 29, at approximately 5 a.m., the LFD said on Facebook. Photos show that the crash happened along Route 30, outside of the Lawnside Commons on Route 30 and involved a pickup truck and two other vehicles. Woman, 65, Dies When SUV Strikes Guardrail, Crashing Into South Jersey Woods: Troopers
A Millville woman was killed when her SUV crashed into the woods in Maurice River Township, authorities said. Alice Ferraro, 65, died in the crash on Friday, Sept. 20, a state police spokesperson. Troopers responded to Route 347 North near milepost 7.5 at around 11:41 a.m. Investigators said Ferraro was driving a Honda CR-V when the SUV went off the left side of the road. The Honda crashed through a guardrail and went into nearby woods. Ferraro was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remained under investigation, troopers said.
